OSR Alumni Association presents

Third annual conference

How is change changing? Explore new patterns of practice.

The way we travel will change the world

with Glenda Chaffin, Will Hewett, Elaine Jessen and Bob Woodruff

"I exist through you — you exist through me. I am because you are."

“A traveler through a country would stop at a village and he didn't have to ask for food or for water. Once he stops, the people give him food, entertain him. That is one aspect of Ubuntu but it will have various aspects. Ubuntu does not mean that people should not address themselves. The question therefore is: Are you going to do so in order to enable the community around you to be able to improve?” — Nelson Mandela

This Southern Africa Bantu greeting of "Ubuntu" describes the interdependence we have with each other world-wide.

You make an impact as you travel on all the cultures and people you touch. Explore new ways to travel by being mindful of your increasing global participation.

The moment you enter a system you have changed that system and that system has changed you! That is the emerging nature of consultative work around the globe.

The presenters share their experiences in Bali, South Africa, Oaxaca, and the Southern United States (for some, a unique and foreign country). You’ll have the chance to share your own experiences looking through the lens of interdependence.

Pack your bags for a round-the-world, mind-altering adventure.
